Here are your five facts:

-On average, 8-12% of kids say that they skip breakfast and when reaching adolescence that number increases to 20-30%.  WOW!

-Fiber and protein are the most important aspects of breakfast.  Be sure to incorporate these into your breakfast to get the most vitamins and minerals possible! A healthy breakfast will make you feel more energized throughout the day!

-The world’s first breakfast cereal was created in 1863 and needed to be soaked overnight to be chewable! (The first person to guess this breakfast cereal gets a shout-out!)

-Bananas are the most popular fruit in the world with over 100 billion being eaten each year! 50% of these are eaten during breakfast!

-Kids who eat breakfast do better in school and are more likely to participate in physical activity.
